Lefomi is an independent information site published by Grid Pulsar. It is not a bank, credit union, broker, rating agency or financial adviser. It provides information about where money sits and how institutions compare. It does not sell services to the institutions it covers.

Some links are affiliate links, meaning marked links that may earn Lefomi a fee. When a reader opens an account through one of these links, the provider may pay Lefomi. The reader pays nothing extra because the link is used. Every affiliate link is identified near the link and explained on this disclosure page.

Providers that may pay include savings marketplaces and brokers. Raisin may pay through the FlexOffers affiliate network. Interactive Brokers may pay through its publisher program. Other approved providers may pay through the Impact affiliate network. Until a program approves the site, its link remains a plain informational link and does not earn a fee.

No bank, credit union, app or broker pays to receive a grade. No institution pays to change its grade or to be listed or removed. Grades are calculated before any commercial relationship exists. The grading code does not know which providers may pay Lefomi.

The section called “Where cash earns more and stays insured” appears in the same place on every institution page. It uses the same wording on each page. Its presence does not depend on the institution’s grade or any commercial relationship.

Bank and credit union grades use public government data from the FDIC and NCUA. Ratios, percentiles, scores and letters are calculated from those records using fixed rules. There is no judgment call for an individual institution and no manual grade change. Information about apps and cash products comes from each provider’s own public pages.

Affiliate payments support the site, but they do not determine coverage, rankings, grades or page placement. A commercial relationship does not allow a provider to alter the calculations or remove unfavorable information.

Nothing on Lefomi is financial, investment or deposit advice. Grades compare publicly reported ratios among institutions of similar size at one quarter end. They do not forecast anything. Lefomi does not tell readers what to do with their money.
