Coverage calculator

FDIC insurance covers up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, per ownership category, such as single or joint accounts. NCUA share insurance follows the same pattern, using each member and insured credit union. Apps that are not banks may hold customer money at one or more partner banks. When two apps use the same partner bank, balances in the same ownership category are added against one $250,000 limit. This calculator identifies shared partner banks, but it cannot see balances or calculate how many dollars are covered.
